Thousands of miles apart, Team Elite’s Jacob Marlow and Alexis Ruiz each saw incredible success in their competitive disciplines over the weekend, Marlow shooting the Archery Shooters Association (ASA) 3D tournament in Paris, Texas, and Ruiz shooting target for USA Archery in Medellin, Colombia. 

USA and NFAA Indoor Nationals wrapped up Sunday evening in Cincinnati, Ohio where Elite Archery’s professional youth left a lasting impression with two hard-fought, major second place finishes by Alexis Ruiz and Jase Boils.

In the first Archery Shooters Association (ASA) ProAM tournament of the year in Foley, Alabama, where foggy and at times windy conditions set the stage for an exciting kickoff event, Elite Archery’s Tommy Gomez placed third in the Men’s Open Pro class.

The Lancaster Classic, one of the year’s most anticipated indoor tournaments hosted by Lancaster Archery Supply, concluded Sunday with Elite Archery’s Jacob Marlow at the top of the podium with his Victory X.

In the last major international World Archery tournament of the year where over 600 competed from across the globe, Elite Archery’s Alexis Ruiz defended her Macau championship with another gold medal finish in the women’s compound division. 

The second leg of the Indoor Archery World Series took place in Macau, China, where Alexis Ruiz, shooting an Elite Archery VictoryX, impressed the world with a gold medal finish.

The stakes were high, the competition was tough, and Elite Archery’s winningest athlete, Kris Schaff, was ready. Just two years into his World Archery World Cup circuit, Schaff made his debut as the fourth seed at the Hyundai World Cup Final in Samsun, Turkey and left a champion.

Most target shooter's season's are coming to an end, including that of Darrin Christenberry's with the conclusion of IBO World's - but that doesn't mean arrows stop flying.
