Tough conditions, and even tougher competition were the footnotes of the sixth Archery Shooters Association (ASA) tournament of the year in Metropolis, IL. After receiving several inches of rain days before the kickoff of the shoot, the courses were set to be a challenge with shin-deep muddy trails. At the onset, Elite Archery’s Glen Bordwell proved the terrain wouldn’t prevent him from having success, as he challenged his way to a win in the Men’s Known Pro division.

The second stage of the World Cup took place in a windy, rainy Antalya, Turkey, just after a week of record-breaking weather. Team Elite’s Reo Wilde and Kris Schaff represented two of four United States compound archery male competitors and Schaff proved, once again, to be one of the world’s top contenders.

#TeamElite's Freeman, Wilde Podium in US Tournaments
An uncharacteristically cold and stormy weekend set the stage for the third Archery Shooters Association tournament of the year in Paris, Texas. The first day of shooting resulted in incomplete rounds for the Men’s Open Pro division, due to an inbound hailstorm, however Megan Freeman in the Women’s Pro class, shot into the top five after 20 targets.
