The Outdoor Group, a manufacturer of industry-leading archery and hunting related products headquartered in West Henrietta, is pleased to announce Josh Sidebottom has accepted the position of Chief Operations Officer (COO).
Josh’s position will help The Outdoor Group continue to streamline and create more alignment and efficiency amongst business units including manufacturing, marketing, engineering, and customer service. This represents a natural progression as The Outdoor Group continues to scale its nine industry-leading brands.
“Josh has proven his aptitude through the years at The Outdoor Group, formerly as our VP of Product Development, and his contributions have been invaluable as he embodies not only the traits of our company, but maintains a deep understanding of our dynamic market,” said Greg Steil, CEO. “I am thrilled to be working more closely with Josh and I look forward to the continued success and contributions from our executive team and beyond.”
Josh graduated from University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to joining The Outdoor Group, he served as Director of Engineering at Bear Archery and prior to Bear Archery he was a Product Development Engineer at Keller Technology. Josh brings eight years of industry experience with a proven track record of success overseeing engineering, product management, and brand management.

His passion for target archery and bowhunting started when he was a child and has grown to become his job, hobby, and life.
