Elite Shooter Curtis Broadnax (second from left) has qualified to represent Team USA in the Youth World Team. Broadnax is one of three members who will be competing for the gold at the Youth World Championships in Argentina.

“We are so excited to have Curtis on our team,” said Pro Staff Coordinator Darrin Christenberry. “He’s had a stellar year so far, especially for someone so young. He’s a fierce competitor and will continue to rise to the top of the game. His consistent podium finishes at high level tournaments have proved that.”

After a consistent day of shooting, Broadnax placed second in Saturday’s qualifying round. On Sunday, only the top eight shooters qualified for the round robin matches, with one point being awarded to each match won and other points awarded to how well an arrow was placed in comparison to the competition. Broadnax outshot many of his competitors for a solid third place finish and a spot on the team to compete in the Youth World Championships.

“Traveling outside the country to represent the USA has been a goal of mine since I started archery and I’m incredibly honored to have the opportunity to do so,” said Broadnax. “I brought two of my Elites and ended up using my ReVol. It shot so good that I couldn’t put it down!”
