The JOAD (Junior Olympic Archery Development) National Championships took place in North Carolina over the weekend and Elite Archery’s Alexis Ruiz and Curtis Broadnax showcased extraordinary athleticism and precision by finishing in top spots.

Tough conditions, and even tougher competition were the footnotes of the sixth Archery Shooters Association (ASA) tournament of the year in Metropolis, IL. After receiving several inches of rain days before the kickoff of the shoot, the courses were set to be a challenge with shin-deep muddy trails. At the onset, Elite Archery’s Glen Bordwell proved the terrain wouldn’t prevent him from having success, as he challenged his way to a win in the Men’s Known Pro division.  

Nearly two thousand miles apart, Team Elite’s top competitors took to their fields with success over the weekend, first in Salt Lake City, UT at stage three of the World Cup, followed by Champion, PA for the annual Organization of Professional Archery tournament.
